Sunday, September 12, 10:30 AM: Flowing Back Together - the Reverend Debra Faulk

  • The annual multi-generational water service invites the sharing of summer wanderings. Let the streams of our individual lives come together, to mingle with each other, to share and to celebrate, joining the greater River of Community for another year.
  • You are invited to bring water collected (real or symbolic) on your summer adventures to add to the communal water.
  • Child care is available for very young children. The service is suitable for older children and teens.
  • Children and Youth Religious Exploration open house and registration to follow.

Sunday, September 19, 10:30 AM:  Beloved Community – Why? - the Reverend Debra Faulk

  • As we begin a new church year with a new minister, let us explore why we come together.  What is the purpose and place of a Unitarian faith community in this time?
  • Children's programs begin.
  • Lunch will be served by the Hospitality Committee.
  • Sunday Forum to follow. Please see the Special Events page for details.

Sunday, September 26, 10:30 AM: Getting To Know UUs - the Reverend Debra Faulk

  • Ours is a tradition with a 500+ year history that is ever evolving. One morning will only whet the appetite for this dynamic faith tradition. It will set the craving for more.
  • The choir will sing.
  • First meeting for the Youth Group.
  • This is "Bring a Friend Sunday."

"4 Others" Collections

  • Each week, half of all non-designated collections will go to the charity of the month.

Carpooling

  • Carpooling is fun, companionable, helps the environment, and saves a little money on gas.
  • We maintain a list of people interested in carpooling on the notice board in Wickenden Hall.

Accessibility

  • Wheelchair lifts from the street level entrance to both the main floor and the basement
  • Wheelchair-accessible washrooms on the main floor and the basement level
  • Large-print hymnals
  • Sound amplification devices for the hard-of-hearing

What to Wear

  • We tend to be an informal group. Some people take special care to look nice on Sundays, while many others prefer jeans or something in-between.
  • Basically, no one really concerns themselves with what others are wearing. As long as you are comfortable and respectful to self and others, it really does not make any difference how dressed "up" or dressed "down" you are.
